- Greetings,
-
- I'm using Remote Access Service on a Windows NT server to allow me to
- dial in from home. My home PC is running Windows 95 and I have a new
- Sportster 28.8/33.6 in each machine.
- I've updated the modem.inf files and everthing is working like a
- charm.
-
- BUT, I have one problem. I would like to use the dial-back
- capability in the Windows NT server so that I can have my office pick
- up the cost of the call. My problem is that I have CALL WAITING at
- home and I can count on being beeped just when I'm doing something
- crucial.
-
- Is there an answer string that will disable call waiting? Call
- waiting can be disabled on my system by using *70, which works fine
- on out going sessions.
-
- I've tried several combinations using flash hook (!) to try to switch
- over on answer, dial the *70, then switch back but no success.
-
- Thanks for any help.
